METHODOLOGY
Method and operative device which activates the accomplishment of a responsible and sustainable change in the organizations composing civil society. It founds on the direct activation of each of the participating organizations, on their vocations and on their irreplaceable personal commitment in their specific contexts; but at the same time it also draws, builds and develops the political and civic general asset in which the single initiatives find composition and integration. This asset is expressed by the notion of DEMOPRAXY, the closest declination to the dream defined and promised by the democratic ideal, obtained replacing the term cratos (government, power) with praxis, practice. THE REBIRTH FORUM applies the concepts of Demopraxy and Trinamics, as defined by Cittadellarte and Michelangelo Pistoletto, adopting the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals from their 2030 Agenda.

The REBIRTH FORUM develops through 4 phases:

MAPPING and CHORUS
Initial phase of definition of the territory, of the actors, of the shared knowledge, of the forces already on the field. During and after the mapping the results are displayed in an exhibition, which can vary depending on the location and the budget available. The exhibition allows the city to get to know the process and the subjects already involved, offering the latter a space to interface with other initiatives inspired to the UN’s SDGs and in line with the vision of the Third Paradise.

PLENARY and FORUM
A referent from each adhering organization (association, institution, company, body, etc.) takes part in the FORUM. Round-table discussions - generated by topics and issues raised in the course of the Chorus phase, and configured according to the trinamic method of analysing thesis and antithesis to reach a group synthesis (creation) - lead to concrete, feasible and measurable actions, which become the operative basis of the single working sites.

WORKING SITES
It’s the phase of implementation of the actions, processes and projects that have come alive in the course of the FORUM. The working site usually lasts a year, and it must consist of measurable and verifiable programmes and actions. They include regular meetings among the participants.

RESTITUTION and COMPLIANCE
After a year, the actors meet again to establish the partial or total success or failure of the working sites they have participated in, deconstructing them into their salient elements, the motivations and the reactions on the territory. An evaluation is carried out also of the relationship with the two institutional hubs which have been points of reference throughout the whole process: the CITY (mayor and city council) and the UNITED NATIONS (the regional representatives of the agencies of reference for the main theme the WORKING SITE has engaged with).

 

1. Art Market Budapest and Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto ONLUS organize the first Rebirth Forum Budapest.
   
   
2. The Rebirth Forum is openly inspired to and applies the concepts of Demopraxy and Trinamics, as defined by Cittadellarte and Michelangelo Pistoletto, adopting the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals from their 2030 Agenda.
   
   
3. The Rebirth Forum aims at developing research and decisional processes leading to concrete actions on the territory and to achievable , measurable and verifiable objectives.
   
   
4. The theme of the Forum is decided by the participants, at the time of registration each interested applicant is asked to indicate 3 of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals in relation to which they feel they can present a structured proposal, knowing they have the skills, the opportunities and the commitment to carry it out in the next 12 months (working site).
   
   
5. The Rebirth Forum Budapest can include up to 100 interested parties (the Committee reserves the right to choose 25 of the participants).
   
   
6. The participants are automatically confirmed on the basis of the chosen themes. The Forum might be divided into sessions if required by the requests of participation or the topics.
   
   
7. The participants are asked to bring and donate to the Forum a chair coming from their organization, it must be used.
   
   
8. The Rebirth Forum Budapest will take place on 4-5-6 October 2019, from 10 AM to 3 PM.
   
   
9. The Rebirth Forum Budapest will be held at Európa Pont, Millenáris, Lövőház u. 35, 1024 Budapest, Hungary.
